Night Dives

Night dive the deep end of the Busselton Jetty, 1.8kms out to sea!

If you are in Busselton, Dunsborough or Margaret River areas, do not miss this dive – its recognized as one of the best shore dives in Australia for a reason!!

Busselton Jetty is one of Western Australia’s best dives, both because of how easy it is to dive (all dive gear is waiting for you within 50m of the dive site!), and the massive pylons and huge range of sealife beneath the Jetty is truly stunning.

And when the sun goes down, the Wonder Under the Jetty truly comes to life, with a whole new accompanying cast of sealife coming out to join the invertebrates, hard and soft corals and fish that surround you during the day. It truly is a stunning experience.

And to make the experience as enjoyable as possible for all divers, whether you bringing your own gear or wanting to hire a complete set or something in between, Dive Busselton Jetty offers a complete chauffeur service for you too. We pick you up from shore with your gear, and drive you out to the dive site at the end of the Jetty. And at the end of your diving, drive you and your gear back to shore again too! (And cover the Jetty entrance fee too!)

Can I do a Night Dive on the Jetty?

If you are a certified Open Water Diver with PADI, SSI or NAUI etc, then you can dive the Jetty at Night!

Three Night Dive options:

1. Current and Certified Night Diver

You have done a logged dive in the last 12 months or have done a total of more than 30 logged dives AND you are a certified Night Diver / Advanced Diver with PADI, SSI, NAUI etc.
If this is you, you can dive the Jetty in your own buddy pair, or have one of our Dive Guides accompany you – the choice is yours.
And you are more than welcome to do the Day Dive scheduled just before your Night Dive too, so you can really experience the change when the sun goes down under the waves beneath the Jetty.

2. Current Certified Diver

You have done a logged dive in the last 12 months or have done a total of more than 30 logged dives BUT you are not certified as a Night Diver with PADI, SSI, NAUI etc.
If this is you, you need to do a day dive on the Jetty either in your own buddy pair, or with one of our Dive Guides first. Then go on an accompanied Jetty Night Dive with one of our Dive Guides.

3. Non-Current Certified Diver or Night Diver

You are a Certified Diver or Advanced / Night Diver BUT you haven’t dived in the last 12 months and have done less than 30 logged dives in total to date.
If this is you, you will need to do a Refresher Dive during the day with our Dive Instructor just before your Accompanied Night Dive with one of our Dive Guides.

Prices for Current Certified Diver, not certified as Night Diver:

Prices for Non-Current Certified Diver or Night Diver:

All prices include our chauffer service for you and your gear from shore to the dive site 1.8kms out to sea and back in a luxury golf buggy, our dive briefing for the site, Jetty Entry Fees and refreshments.

IMPORTANT POINTS :

• Minimum numbers apply – we reserve the right to cancel if we don’t have enough divers booked onto a tour.
• All participants in a Night Dive MUST either have successfully completed an Open Water dive course with a recognized dive certifying body (e.g. PADI, NAUI, SSI etc.) or be doing a Try Dive with one of our experienced dive instructors.
• All divers must sign a Liability Waiver to participating in any tour, which includes a Statement that the diver is unaware of any reason whatsoever that will increase the risk of them SCUBA diving, or has fully disclosed this to us prior to them diving.
• If bad weather or unexpected events force the cancellation of your tour after you have left the shore to head out to the dive site but before you enter the water, you still need to pay for your golf buggy ride – you will be refunded for any dives not started. If bad weather or unexpected events forces the cancellation of your dive after you have entered the water, this dive will not be refunded.
