What we are proud of, and why
Partnering with BJECA
We are proud and grateful for the opportunity to provide our undersea walks, thanks in no small part to the work and contribution of the Board and management team from Busselton Jetty Environment and Conservation Association (BJECA). Sharing the income from the Busselton Jetty Undersea Walks enables us to make an active and ongoing contribution to the management and upkeep of the iconic Busselton Jetty, one of Western Australia’s most beloved tourist destinations.
SeaTREK Licensee
SeaTREK is the world-leader in helmet diving and undersea walks. Dive Busselton Jetty chooses to use the global leading SeaTREK helmet dive system because it is the safest, most enjoyable way to enable non-divers to experience our underwater world for themselves, up very close and personal. Whilst a SeaTREK helmet is not cheap ($20,000USD each), the quality of SeaTREK’s systems, technology and support enables us to deliver tours that consistently delight our customers..
2016 Certificate of Excellence Trip Advisor
Our guests make what we want to do possible. Trip Advisor, the world-leading travel review website, awarded our related organisation, Ningaloo Whaleshark Swim, with a 2016 Certificate of Excellence for consistently delighting guests on tour. Dive Busselton Jetty is working towards our own Certificate of Excellence just as soon as possible!
Gold Medal – Best Adventure Tour in WA
One of our proudest moments for Dive Busselton Jetty’s Owner / Manager was jointly winning the Gold Medal for Best Adventure Tour in WA at the Western Australian Tourism Awards for Ningaloo Whaleshark Swim’s whaleshark tours.
Giving back to our community
Actively supporting the local Busselton and Exmouth communities in which we operate will always be a priority for our organisation. To date, our related organisation in Exmouth has donated over $100,000 to not for profit and industry organisations, and done hundreds of hours of volunteer work. Why? Because its the right thing to do. Simple.
Indigenous Support
Our related business in Exmouth continues to work closely with the local indigenous corporations and communities in the region, and Dive Busselton Jetty will be doing our bit too to advance the social, physical, financial and emotional wellbeing of Australia’s indigenous Aboriginals.
Industry Service
Our CEO recently “retired” as Chair of the Exmouth Visitors Centre on a high, with the Centre winning Gold Medal for Best Visitor Centre in WA one week after he left. He has also previously served as a Board Member for Relationships Australia.
Scientific Research
We support research that protects our natural environment and guides good policy and decisions. Through partnering with researchers, cash donations, providing our assets and crew as required, and our own research projects, we are committed to making a real difference.
